First Lutheran Pre-School

First Lutheran Pre-School is a Christ-centered learning environment and it would be our pleasure to be a part of the beginning of such a vital part of your child's life - their education!

We offer pre-school and pre-kindergarten classes.  The preschool classes for 3- and 4-year-olds are held on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 8:45 AM until 11:15 AM. The pre-kindergarten classes for 4- and 5-year-olds are on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:45 AM until 11:15AM.

Meet Our Teachers!

Mrs. Linnea Stiff is the director of First Lutheran Preschool and also teaches the pre-kindergarten readiness program for 4 and 5 year olds.  She has taught for almost 28 years in California and Montana and has worked with children with disabilities. She has a background in theater.  She is married to Steve, is the mom of grown children, Meghan and Josh, and grandma to Isabelle.  She loves to go hunting for rocks.  She is an artist and loves to paint, and works lovingly in her flower gardens.   Linnea is active in the women’s organization Lutheran Women Missionary League at First Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Leah Klemp teaches the 3 and 4 year olds.  Leah has been working with children in a variety of avenues for several years at First Lutheran Church and School.  She is also the Admission and Enrollment Counselor for First Lutheran Classical School (FLCS), and has been a board member of FLCS since 2008.  She also works part time at Rocky Mountain ENT as a transcriptionist and has been there for over 20 years.  Of all the hats that she wears, her favorite is that of wife and mom.  Leah is married to Denny and their son Marcus is a second grader at FLCS.  She loves to do anything that her boys are doing.  She is in the process of getting her degree in early elementary education at the University of Montana.
